Bobby George is a leadership, learning, facilitation, and performance-improvement professional with more than three decades of experience helping people and organizations work better.

Since 1995, he has led Achieving Performance Excellence, LLC, delivering workshops, presentations, retreats, facilitation, training, team development, and advisory services for public agencies, associations, schools, healthcare organizations, higher education, and other mission-driven clients. 

Bobby also spent more than three decades in South Carolina public service, including senior training and development leadership roles with the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority, the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and the South Carolina Department of Social Services. 

He understands the inside realities of complex organizations: competing priorities, limited resources, changing expectations, workforce challenges, customer demands, difficult team dynamics, and the gap between a good plan and actual execution. 

Bobby’s work is grounded in practical experience, but his delivery style is far from dry. He uses participation, stories, metaphors, humor, music, candid conversation, visual tools, activities, assessment, and action planning to help groups make real progress.
